About Me

My name is Chris Steadman. I started to wargame in 1971 when I discovered Donald Featherstone's and Charles Grant's books in my local library. I started painting miniatures, badly, soon after and after a long journey I find that I am now fairly good at it, even if I say so myself. Like a lot in the hobby, I used to have many, many projects on the go at any one time and my 'mates' used to call me "Back Burner". Thanks to Ebay, that has now been solved and I'm much more focused. I hope that you find something of interest in these pages and that you enjoy your visit.

My painting table

This is where I do my painting. I'm lucky to have a whole room for my hobby. In the opposite corner I have another desk that I call the 'prep-table' where all the cutting, filing, gluing and basing goes on.
