Inspiration.

This is a page of links to the sites of those people who have inspired me most with their miniature painting.

Kevin Dallimore
In 1984 I moved to London (UK) to work and soon joined the South East London Wargames group (SELWG). Like all new members, I took a bit of time to get to know the other SELWGers. One kind bloke offered to provide two 25mm armies, so he could give me a game of WRG 6th edition Ancients. Come the following Friday, he turned up with a beautifully painted Tibetan Army and an equally gorgeous  Byzantine army. He thrashed me of course and, as we had plenty of time to pack the figures away, I started to ask him about his painting. Ever since then Kevin (Dallimore) has been completely free with his time and knowledge, answering all my questions with patience. Thanks mate!

I soon met two other club members who were pretty good with the sable. Steve Dean and Paul Baker have been equally free with their time, never failing to answer my many questions. It is these three guys who taught me to paint - and still do! Check out their web sites.

Thanks must go to Steve for his help with this web site. He's been free with both ideas and technical support. Thanks mate.

Paul Baker

Two other painters, of a similar style, also inspire me through their work. They too both have web sites that are well worth visiting. I like the style of their sites and have nicked some ideas!

Tom Weiss

David Imrie

The WitchHunter
Alex 'The Witchhunter' has a fascination with all things 'fantasy'. A hugely talented painter, you'll find lots of eye candy on his web site, ranging from his traditional fantasy figures - take a look at his winter Barbarian Army  and his Darkest Africa collection and his Wild West figures and his Pulp stuff - hell, look at it all! Visit now!

Dave Woodward
Dave Woodward is another extremely talented painter. His site is well worth a visit. Lots and lots of exceptionally well painted miniatures.

Joe Videki
Joe Videki is an artist. The quality of his painting needs to be seen to be believed. Well worth visiting for inspiration. You will be back at the painting table before you know it.

Bob Mackenzie

There are few wargamers that have the passion and energy for the hobby as my very good friend Bob Mackenzie. His web site is worth taking a look at even if you are not into World War 2 and Modern gaming. He's even got some pics of MY models and figures! Make sure you click on "Whats New" and take a look at some of Bob's game reports - lots of great pictures of games during play.
